We’re incredibly proud to share that Kavodax has been named the winner of the Startup World Cup Ottawa Regional Competition at AccelerateOTT 2026.
This recognition is more than an award — it’s a testament to the work our team is doing to reimagine global payments through secure, compliant, and scalable financial infrastructure.
A Place at the Global Finale
Winning the regional competition has earned us a place at the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in San Francisco, where we’ll represent Ottawa and Canada on the global stage for the opportunity to compete for a $1M USD investment prize.
The competition took place at AccelerateOTT 2026, hosted by Invest Ottawa, where Kavodax pitched alongside nine other founders representing innovation across the region. Kavodax walked away with first place, earning $25,000 in grants and a spot at the Grand Finale.
More Than a Pitch Competition
For Kavodax, this milestone represents far more than a pitch competition. We’re building the infrastructure that helps SMEs move money globally — faster, more transparently, and more efficiently. Through cross-border payments, stablecoin issuance, and powerful APIs, we’re creating new ways for businesses and economies to connect.
